Dear Reader,

I am sorry that this blog took a month hiatus, it was my responsibility and I failed. Never mind that though, here is the next mix.

What month is more American than January? July? NO. In July the country is either an open air sauna, an oven or quite nice. There is the forth of July and everyone takes some time off and enjoys themselves. Sure it is apart of the national psyche to indulge and spend time with loved ones be productive. Those are just the good times. January has a melancholic mystique, the X-Mas buzz is gone, the first day your Auld Langs Syne (times gone by) are trying to get out of your head by boring a hole through your scull. The credit card bills from December are due and its not getting any warmer. Through out it all, we the good Men and Women of these United States work past, stress, fatigue, annoyance and the winter blues, to form a better union between our bills/groceries/co-pays/gas and our paycheck. With this strain, our nerves fry and puddle only to reform weirder than before.

And so I give you WEIRD AMERICA a mix of the movement that is sweeping the nation, there are some favorites but also some new tracks that I think you might just enjoy.

Autum is November.

When I say, 'autumn is November' I mean this categorically, of course. I'm sorry about not posting in October, I have been under multiple wires. I don't even like October. It's warm (in my part of the world) and weird and I didn't want to make a crappy mix like last time. This mix is as close to that feeling you get when the air turns crisp and you then you shiver for the first time all year.
